World renowned Danish photographer, Jan Persson, started as a newspaper photographer in 1962, but soon his remarkable photographs were published by a number of magazines, reissue record companies, and documentary films on the history of both jazz and rock music. Persson's reputation is based on his unique and high quality jazz and rock photographs from American jazz greats Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis to rock icons Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. His extensive photo archives have been continuously sought after and exhibited internationally.
